Are You Writing or Are You Creating a Quantum Channel?
On the power writing gives us to exist eternally and unequivocally.
If you asked me why I like writing I’d say it’s because I’m dramatic and have been a yapper since birth.
But if you asked me on a deeper level I’d say it’s because writing is the quantum entanglement of souls across time and space—where my words can reach through dimensions to touch someone I've never met, creating connections as mysterious as particles that dance in perfect synchronicity despite vast distances between them.
That through writing, I've learned that our stories are both particle and wave, both deeply personal and universally shared—through writing, I'm saying: "I see you. I feel this too. You're not alone in this vast universe." To the strangers that need it the most
I’d say writing has taught me that every human experience reverberates through our collective consciousness eternally—I’d say that in a way, writing isn't just communication—it's communion.
Writing is a Universal Communion
If you asked me to define writing, I'd not hesitate for a single moment to tell you that it's a quantum force to be reckoned with.
For when we right, words become particles embedded into the code of humanity, traveling consciousness and creating connections thought previously unattainable.
(Yes, I’m referring to your parasocial relationship with Jane Austen, who lived and died over 150 years before you were even a thought in someone’s mind.)
In the quantum realm, particles can remain connected regardless of the distance between them, moving in perfect synchronicity as if they share a secret language.
Writing operates in much the same way—our stories reach through dimensions of time and space to touch souls we've never met, creating bridges across the seemingly infinite void of human experience.
The Physics of Human Connection
Think about it: when you write, you're not just stringing words together. You're crafting quantum bridges between consciousness, sending signals across the universe of human experience, regardless of time, through both future and present that say, "I see you. I feel this too. You're not alone in this existence."

It's eerily like quantum entanglement, how our words create instant connections with readers who resonate with their frequency, no matter the distance that time puts between their physical existences.
The Wave-Particle Duality of Stories
Just as light exists as both wave and particle, our stories exist in dual states—they are both deeply personal particles of our individual experience and universal waves that ripple through collective consciousness.
Each word we write carries the potential energy of countless connections, waiting to collapse into meaning in the mind of the right reader.
When we write from our vulnerabilities, we're not just exposing our wounds to the world. We're creating quantum tunnels through which others can learn to navigate their own pain, finding strength in the shared experience of being human.
Essentially, our stories become probability clouds of healing, existing in multiple states until finally observed by those who need them most.
This is why writing isn't just communication—it's communion.
The Community Care Equation
When we understand writing as quantum entanglement, we begin to see how it serves as perhaps the most fundamental form of community care.
Through writing, we distribute not just information but energy, consciousness, and healing across the neural network of humanity.
The words we write today might reach someone years from now, in a moment when they feel most alone, creating an instantaneous connection across time and space that reminds them they're part of something larger than themselves.
We Are Both the Observer and Observed
In physics, certain constants govern the behavior of the universe. In the realm of human experience, writing serves as one of these constants.
Through writing, we become both observer and observed, creator and created, particle and wave. We enter a state of superposition where our individual experience exists simultaneously as personal truth and universal wisdom.
This is why I write. Not just because I'm dramatic (though I am) or because I've always been a yapper (though I have).
I write because in the quantum relationship between words and consciousness, I find my place in the universe.
I write because every story is both a particle of personal truth and a wave of universal understanding, reaching across time to remind us all that in this vast universe, none of us is truly alone.
And perhaps that's the most beautiful physics equation of all.
This is so cool! I’m such a quantum mechanics nerd, and I love how you’ve not only managed to make something so complex entirely understandable, but you made it beautiful and artistic as well.
One of my favorite pieces I’ve read so far on Substack. 👏🏻👏🏻
I love how you put it this way <3
